I loooove this bakery... Everything is delicious, both sweet and savory. Some things are priced so attractively and some seem a dollar more than you think they should be but when you see all the workers behind the kitchen glass wall, kneeding dough, stuffing the creme puffs, making the cakes live, and seeing how many of them are, it's heartwarming...

Terrific hot sandwiches, mediocre baked goods. I love the chicken cutlet sandwich and get it every time I’m here. However, nearly every baked good I got here was not pleasant to eat. The items with a filling, for example, tasted like a cold block of raw, store-bought cream cheese was slapped in the middle. I expected a bit more from this place.

Went there for the creps! We grabbed a matcha & strawberry crepe to go, but you can enjoy it there as well! It’s a small hidden gem, but they have a few tables. Highly recommended!

Foods I liked--All (entire order)- -Korokke (Beef Croquette with masked potato) -Mango pudding -Macha pudding (Very strong in match flavor) -Strawberry Daifuku -Tiramisu Coffee Roll slice -Yuzu Cheese Roll cake slice -Fruits Roll slice -Sakura Melon pan -Melon pan -Earl Grey Tea Briskey Pan -Sakura anpan -Cream pan -Fresh cream Brioche/Strawberry -Mochi anpan -Egg Salad full sandwich -Yakiniku Don-Beef -Salmon (Sake kasu Marinade) Knock out foods I will go back for: 1.Mochi Anpan 2.Stawberry Daifuku 3.Sakura Anpan 4.Cream Pan 5.Fresh cream Briche/Strawberry Very nice, very authentic Japanese bakery. The service was excellent. The service/counter worker helped me with questions about the food, picking items and was very patient with me with my large order. it is a lot more affordable than one thinks it would be. the food is definitely fresh, fun and so tasty. I wish I lived above or next door to this place, it would be a problem for me because this place would be a forth of my budget. Its a hidden jewel of a bakery. I stopped by to pick up a pastry this morning on my way to Brooklyn Bridge. They had a nice selection of bread, although it was less traditionally Japanese and more Americanized than I’d expected. I chose the custard coronet ($2.85), which had rich cream (a bit too thick and heavy for me) that came out as I was eating it, but it was good. The staff seemed friendly and I’ll keep this spot in mind for when I’m in the area again.
